Wanda Sue (Tyndall) Lewis

Wanda Sue Lewis 74 of Salemburg died Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Wanda was born November 7, 1950 in Sampson County to the late Ruby Boykin and Dentley Tyndall. Wanda worked for over 35 years as a dietician for various nursing facilities including The Magnolia of Clinton. She enjoyed cooking and watching her favorite tv shows, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Fire. More than anything Wanda enjoyed just being home surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 7, 2025 in the Zoar PFWB Church Cemetery.

Visitation will take place 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lewis.

Left to cherish the precious memories of Wanda are her daughters: Amanda Godwin and Rocky Dial, both of Hope Mills; her son: Heath Lewis of Clinton; her brothers: Terry Tyndall of Florida and Sammy Tyndall of Steadman; four grandchildren: Ariel Hobbs, Dakota Godwin, Elijah Dail, and Chenoa Dail; and her beloved dog: Logan.
