Veronica Herring 72, of 2002 Rosehill Rd., was called to her Heavenly home on Saturday, July 13, 2024 while at Cumberland Rehab in Fayetteville, NC.

Veronica was born in Colorado to the late Vivian Garcia and Frank Aragon. She later moved to Gastonia, NC and began working at Witten Automatic Vents. She was a dedicated and hard worker for 20 years. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and enjoyed having Bible study. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them more than anything. She was also a loyal Redskins fan!

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Rev. Jerry Parker & Rev. Douglas Gilmore, officiating. 

The Family will visit with friends and guests following the service from 7:00-8:00 pm within the chapel.

Veronica leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughters: Linda Powell (Jamel) and Renee Terry (Warren); sons: James Herring and Amos Smith; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
