Vance Timothy Turner Sr. 61, of 94 Pickle Shed Ln., passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Epworth Methodist Church, 5876 Garland Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328.

Vance was born on July 5, 1963 in Duplin County to the late Martha D. Simpson and Guy J. Turner. Vance was married to his wife, Lula for 37 years until her passing. Their union saw the birth of 4 beautiful children. Vance was a man who loved spending time with his family and adored his grandbabies. In his spare time Vance enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and NASCAR.

Those who preceded Vance in passing include his loving wife: Lula Shepard Turner, son: Vance ‘Boo’ Timothy Turner Jr., and sibling: Bimmie Woodcock.

Those left to cherish the memory of Vance are his children: Heather Hardman, Hannah Turner, and Christopher Turner, all of Clinton; siblings: Bobbie Littleton of Pender, Joey Turner of Brunswick, and Robbie Turner of Richlands; and six grandchildren: Juliana Hardman, Madisyn Hardman, Grayselin Hardman, Shalee Sessoms, Kayleigh Turner, and Mason Turner.
