Trevia was born in Sampson County on March 18, 1966. She was raised in Roseboro, NC and attended both Sampson County and Clinton City Schools in her youth. In her earlier days, Trevia worked for Master Casen in her early years and most recently she was employed for 10 years with Arby's of Clinton until her decline in health required her to stop working.
Trevia loved playing Softball. She played out field for FBCC and the Clinton A’s softball teams. Trevia truly enjoyed traveling with her team to different locations around Sampson County to play. When she wasn’t playing softball, Trevia could be found playing cards or rewatching her favorite Hallmark movies for the 300th time. She loved her Cheetos, a big cup of ice, and an ice-cold Pepsi or Mountain Dew and you were almost always sure to find her favorite hard candies on her wherever she went.
Trevia loved life. She loved to laugh and joke around. Making others smile and have a good time brought her an incredible amount of joy. She loved to cook Sunday dinner for family and spend time with all of her beloved grandbabies.
Trevia was preceded in death by her Mother: Treva Dell Wells Eason and her Father: Willie James Eason.
She is survived by her three daughters: Shenika Fryar (Perry), Sequilla Hackney, and Tyeisha McKoy; her six grandchildren: Tymeisha Fryar, Jamiya Fryar, Willie Hackney, Kyle’len Gardner, Cashten Sellers, and Nyelah Sellers; one great-grandchild: Jayden Fryar; three brothers: James Eason (Sonia), Ronnie Eason (Audrey), and Bobby Eason (Donna); one aunt: Georgia Mae Melvin (James W.); two uncles: Johnny Eason and Raeford; special friends: Sister Latasha Edwards and George Barnes; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, close friends and extended family.
