Treva Dell Wells Eason 76, of 7348 North West Blvd. departed this world to be with her saviour Wednesday April 27, 2022 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.
Treva was born in Sampson County on January 9, 1946 to the late Floyette Wells and George Boone. She was raised in Sampson County and attended school at Charles E. Perry. She later went on to attend Sampson Community College where she studied cosmotology. In her younger years Treva worked for the Roseboro Milling Company. She also worked for the Sherifs Department as a jailer for a short time before going onto work at Smithfield Packing. In her free time Treva loved to sit back with a Pepsi and do puzzle books. She loved old western shows and and soap opras, going to the food banks with Peggy, and spending time with her family. Treva was a dedicated member of Union Grove Church and as long as she wasn’t sick, she never missed a Sunday.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday May 7, 2022 at Union Grove Church of Christ, 716 Lisbon Street Clinton, NC 28328. Dr. Timothy Peppers Sr., officiating. Burial to follow at Sandhills Cemetery, 3 Sampson St. Clinton, NC 28328.
Visitation from 2:00-7:00 pm on Friday May 6, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328.
Preceding Treva in death are her parents Floyette and George, her husband Willie Eason, as well as eight of her eleven siblings, Nettie, Joyce, Milton, Betty, George, Junior, Jerry and James.
Left to cherish the memory of Treva are her children James Eason (Sonia) of Clinton, NC, Trevia Hackney of Clinton, NC, Ronnie Eason (Audrey) of Clinton, NC and Bobby Eason (Donna) of Godwin, NC; her siblings Georgia of Roseboro, NC, Frank of Newark, DE and Ray of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren Shenika Fryar (Perry), Sequilla Hackney, Tyeisha McKoy, Breanna Jacobs, Jasmine Eason (Jamal), Melina Jacobs, Zy'Kwon, Kim Blue, Thomas Blue, Michael Blue, Angela Sutton and Pamela Blue; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
