Timmie Parker 64, of Clinton, North Carolina, transitioned from this life to eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Timmie was born in Sampson County on August 22, 1960 to Dorothy Lee and Joe Lewis Parker. He attended Clinton High School and was Class of 1978. In the past, Timmie worked at Sampson Gym, located on McKoy Street in Clinton, as well as Martin Meats. When he wasn’t working, Timmie enjoyed doing word search and puzzle books.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Pastor Leonard Henry, officiating. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery, located at 3 Sampson St., Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will take place 2:00-5:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2025 within the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Timmie is preceded in passing by his parents and all of his siblings. It is surely a joyful reunion in Heaven today, as the family are all together once again.

Timmie leaves to cherish his memory, his friend: Alonzo Vann and many other friends and acquaintances he made over the years.
