Thurman Lee Jr. 52, of 13 Briar Cir., passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. 

Thurman R. Lee Jr. was born on December 9, 1972 to Thurman Lee Sr. and Mary V. Williams, at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC. Thurman attended the Clinton City School System. Jr. played football and ran track while in school. For over 20 years he made his living driving long distance trucks. Jr. enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, and drinking a Pepsi. 

Thurman is preceded in death by his father, Thurman Lee Sr.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church, 4721 Bearskin Rd, Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation to take place 1:00-6:00 pm, with family present 5:00-6:00 pm, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Thurman Lee Jr. is survived by his two sons: Justin Lee (Aaliyah Savage, fiancée) of Fayetteville, NC and Cameron Lee of Monroe, NC; his mother: Mary V. Williams of Clinton, NC; and his sister: Tonya Faison of Clinton, NC. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren: Aydin Lee, Amoran Lee, and Jordyn Lee; uncles: Jackie Lee of Salisbury, NC and John Williams of New Jersey; aunts: Joyce Murphy and Rev. Yvonne Faison (Alfred) of Clinton, NC; and special cousins: Jerome Williams, Michelle Jefferson (Jeff), Evonnie Lee, Ivy Faison, Antonio Williams, Derrick Faison, Bobby Lee, and Felix Carr.
