Terry Lynn Jackson 70, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home.

Terry was born in Sampson County on February 28, 1954 to the late Virginia Horne and Elvin Sikes Jackson. Terry served his country as a Sergeant for the United States Army. He joined the Army in June of 1972 and retired in June of 1992 after 20 years of honorable service.

Private Graveside Service with Military honors will be held.

Terry is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie L. Hall Jackson; stepfather, Edwin Strickland; nephew, Robbie Wallace; and sister, Kay Jackson Carr.

Left to cherish the memories of Terry are his children: Sharon Jackson and Virginia (Martin) Jackson, both of Tennessee; siblings: Jimmy (Judy) Jackson of Clinton, NC, Heidi Jackson of Clinton, NC, Ann (Randy) Jackson-Fite of Clinton, NC, and Latham (Diana) Jackson of Huntersville, NC; and 4 grandchildren and host of nieces and nephew's
