Steven Hansel 42, of 9204 Stratus St., passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his home. 

Steven was born on May 06, 1982 in Charleston, SC to Robert William and Fay Marie Hansel. He had previously worked as a cashier for Kroger grocery store. Steven will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Kennebec Baptist Church, 9808 Kennebec Rd., Angier, NC 27501.

Steven is preceded in death by his loving mother, Fay Marie Hansel.

Those left to cherish the memory of Steven include his father, Robert Hansel of the home; sister, Julie Marie Thompson (Mitch) of Wendell, NC; brother, Timothy Paul Hansel of Willow Spring, NC; and niece and nephews: Cheyenne Marie Thompson, Griffin Lee Thompson, Macgregor William Thompson, and Ranger Nicolas Thompson.
