Stephanie Williams Obituary

Stephanie Michelle Williams Cain, 49, was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on October 18, 1973 and gained her wings May 4, 2023 at her home in Clinton.

Her paternal grandparents, Charles and Bertha Williams of Eastover; her maternal grandparents, Paul and Doris Peel of Fayetteville; and her bonus daughter, Rozlyn Cain, precede her in death.

Stephanie leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing her husband and life partner Stephen Cain of the home; her son, Andrew Krautkramer of Menifee, California; her father and bonus mom, Michael and Anita Williams of Saint Pauls; a brother, Michael and Mandy Williams and niece, Cameron and nephew, Carson of Holly Springs; a sister, Mary Himes and two nieces, Meaghan and Abigael of Stedman; a brother, Christopher Williams of Clinton; a bonus brother and his wife, Adam and Sara Foley and their children Landon and Presley; a bonus daughter and son-in-law, Alena and Tyler McGee of Clinton and three bonus grandchildren, Anna, Braiden, and Charles; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Diane Cain of Clinton, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Michelle Cain and their children, Austin and Danielle of Clinton; her mother, Paula Peel of Fayetteville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Stephanie served in the US Army from 1994 through 1998. After basic training in South Carolina, she attended AIT training at Fort Gordon, Georgia. She was then assigned to the 385 th Signal Company and was stationed at Camp Doha, Kuwait. She later was with 414 th Signal Company, Coleman Barracks, serving in Ludwigshafen, Germany. She earned many awards and honors during her time in the military.

  A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Visitation with the family will follow after the service.
