Shaquille O’Neal Lamont Owens was born May 21, 1993 in Clinton, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his mother Brenda Owens-Hooper and father, Jerry Lamont Rattley. He departed this life on Saturday February 8, 2020.

Shaquille was better known as “Shaq”, “Maybach”, & “Scarface” and his most famous name “Daddy” to his children. He received his early education from the Clinton City Schools, and later moved to Raleigh and received education from the Wake County Public Schools System.

Shaq was known for his joking nature. He was vibrant, loving, humorous, and a caring person who never met a stranger.
