Sadie Elizabeth Naylor, 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 16, 2024 at home in Roseboro, NC. Sadie was born in Berkeley Place, Martinsburg, WVA on March 7, 1934 to Charles and Sarah Clark. She had 4 sisters and 1 brother.  She lived in several states with her family and spent the last 22 years in NC.

As a follower of Jesus Christ, she raised her family to know Him as Savior and Lord. Sadie  never missed an opportunity to tell someone about Jesus or to remind those that did believe to keep the faith and don’t become weary or discouraged. “Where would I be without the Lord” she would always say not as a question but a statement never wavering in her faith.

As we now celebrate her living by sight and no longer faith, we also mourn for a time her amazing impact on us.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. The Reverend John K. Hobbs will officiate. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery located on US 421 North in Clinton, NC. The family will stay and receive friends at the cemetery following the service. 

Sadie is the mother of Gilda Roudebush, Jeffrey Naylor(Rose), Brenda Krechko (Raymond), and Sharon Bednar (Brian).
Grandchildren she held so close to her heart are Tammy Roudebush, Rachel Krechko, Megan, Kayla, and Brandon Bednar. Also, Kirk Roudebush who is already in Heaven walking the streets of gold. She also has several cousins, nieces, and nephews she loved dearly.

We would like to thank Gentiva Hospice of Clinton and the kind heart of Mrs Mikki (Betsy). Also, the amazing care and compassion Mrs Tommie gave as Sadie’s nurse in the final months of her life.
