Ronnie Watkins 67, of 428 McKoy Street, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home.
Ronnie Watkins was born in Pender county on November 29TH 1955 to the late Virginia Bellfield and Nathaniel Watkins. He Graduated from Clinton High School. Class of 1974. Ronnie the served in the U.S Army and later resided in Kansas City Missouri. Ronnie worked for Deffenbaugh Trash Services then found his love for cooking as a chef at presbyterian monor and Ku Medical in Kansas City Missouri. Ronnie later moved to Clinton N.C and worked several jobs. His last place of employment was Thomas Turlington as a Production worker. Ronnie had a love for sports, especially, Basketball and football. He was a faithful member of Union Grove Church Of Christ Disciples of Christ, were he served as a faithful usher, Trustee, and sound system technician until his health declined. Ronnie departed his earthly life on August 05th, 2023 at his home. He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Bellfield, his father Nathaniel Watkins, his brother Donnell Watkins and Two sisters , Betty Ruth and Gerladine Grant.
A HomeGoing Service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Union Grove Church of Christ, 716 Lisbon Street, Clinton, NC 28328.
Public visitation will take place an hour prior to the service, 10:00-11:00 am, at Union Grove Church of Christ.

Three Sisters: Annie Ward of Clinton, NC , Annette Williams (James) of Harrells, NC ,and Angela Bellfield of Clinton ,NC. aA special friend Mary Bland of Clinton, Nc, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
