Ronald Eugene Jackson 76, of 3000 Oak Grove Church Rd., passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home.

Ronald or ‘Ronnie’, as he was called by those closest to him, was born in Washington D.C. on April 2, 1948 to the late Dorothy Boore and Dickie Jackson.

Ronnie was a son, brother, friend, and an honorable man. He proudly served his country having been a part of 2 tours in Vietnam. In addition, Ronnie was stationed in Germany for a time. This is where he recieved his National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Purple Heart, two Overseas Bars, and Sharpshooter Badge of the M-14 Rifle.

Celebration of Ronald's Life with full Military honors will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Afterwards, in honoring Ronald's wishes, he will be cremated. 

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Those left to cherish the many wonderful memories of Ronald are, his Sister: Pamela (John) Palmer Jr.; Nephews: Kevin L. Higgins, Lance (Erica) J. Hoffman, and Keith Hoffman. Ronald was blessed to be surrounded by an additional Spiritual Family as well including Daughter: Sicara Graham; Niece: Shenice Chance; Grandchildren: Shanaya Graham and DeQuanta (Samaria) Wright; and Great-Grandchildren: Samaria Wright and Khalon Wright.
