Robert William “Teeny” Overby 75, 334 Zeb Rd., passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.

Robert was born on April 28, 1948 in Greensboro, NC to the late Herman Lee Overby Sr. and Mary Lee Headen.

Robert is preceded in death by grandparents William Overby and Ruby Wiley formerly of Danville Virginia in which they made Greensboro NC their home, Father Herman Lee Overby,Sr and Mother Mary Lee Headen Overby Vample, sister Mary Katherine Overby, daughter Vanita Overby of Williamsburg Virginia and grandson Robert Overby.

Robert is survived by his brother Herman Lee Overby II(Ester) of Cincinnati Ohio, sister Fleeta Overby Crawford(Bobby) of Clinton NC, three granddaughters Danielle and Timia Overby of Newport News Virginia Alexandria Overby Jeffers of Maryland grandson Nahsee Banks Missle Technician Third Class of the United States Navy and great granddaughter Jasane’ Smith and great grandson Taejaun Smith of Newport News Virginia. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews family and friends.
