Raymond Estes 90, of 3566 N. McCullen Rd., passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at his home.

Raymond was born in Virginia on March 4, 1934 to the late Marguerite Dobbs and Elbert L. Estes. He proudly served in the United States Marines and Air Force. After his time in the military, Raymond worked in maintenance for Sampson Regional Medical Center from 1984 until 2001. He enjoyed building things and cutting his grass. Raymond was married to the love of his life, Margaret Ann, for 66 wonderful years and their union blessed them with three children.

Celebration of Life to be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1818 N McCullen Rd, Faison, NC. Rev. Bobby Beasley, officiating. 

The family will receive friends following the service within the chapel.

Raymond was preceded in passing by his two siblings, George Estes and Mary Jane Cromise.

Left to cherish the memory of Raymond are his loving wife: Margaret Ann Estes of the home; his three children: Dwayne Estes (Concetta) of Fayetteville, Lori Samples (Jim) of Clayton, and Derek Estes of Virginia; and four grandchildren: Ashley Patierno (Anthony) of Virginia, Kelsey Samples of Clayton, Shelby Samples of Clayton, and Kiristin Samples of Clayton.
