Randy was a man who loved the Lord and his fellow man. He believed in the power of prayer and would often ask others if he could pray for them. For many years Randy was a Deacon and member of Bethlehem PFWB Church in Turkey, NC. The last 20 years of his life, Randy attended services at Clinton Community Church. He was a humble man who would do anything for anyone. Randy was patient, kind, and loved with his whole heart.

It could be said that Randy was happiest when he was outdoors. He enjoyed cutting grass, planting flowers, picking up pinecones, and generally any type of yard work. In his free time, he also enjoyed fishing and watching UNC basketball games.

Randy is preceded in death by his mother: Ruby Farley; stepfather: Charles Farley; father: Herman Taylor; stepmother: Treva Taylor; son: Randy Lee Taylor Jr.; brother: David Taylor; and stepbrother: James Anderson.
