Ramona Lynn Brewington

Ramona Lynn Brewington, 67, was born March 14th, 1958, in Dunn, North Carolina. After a long illness, Lynn transitioned from this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Lynn, as she was affectionately known, had a very engaging personality that drew people to her. This was evidenced by the number of people that enjoyed her presence when she worked at Cato's of Dunn and Tractor Supply of Erwin. Many people across the state had a chance to enjoy her personality as she traveled across the state with her sister on a curriculum testing commission.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene and Martha Chance; husband: Paul Brewington; brothers: Eugene and Ronald; sisters: Shirley Chance and Dartha Morrison.

She is survived by a host of family and friends including daughter: Lynn Lane Brewington; granddaughter: Aubree Blue; grandson: TaKowa Blue; sisters: Ruth Mann, Juanita Caldwell, Sheila Chance-Morrison, and Debra Getz; brother: Donald Chance.
