Pearlene T. Simmons 85, of 1405 South Poplar St., passed away Wednesday June 5, 2024 at Genesis Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center in Mt. Olive, NC.

Pearlene is preceded in death by her Mother, Rachel T. Simmons; Sisters, Virgie N. Coley and Leona Simmons; Brother, Johnny L. Simmons.

A Home Going Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memory of Pearlene is her only Daughter, Kesha S. Artis (Thad Artis III); 3 Grandchildren: Quantiyana Lanika Simmons, Raheem Damarcus Artis, and Tyquan Maliek Artis; Sisters: Nancy E. Bunn and Marie Braswell of Goldsboro, NC and Bessie M. Jordan of Windsor Mill, MD; Brothers: Wilbert Simmons Jr. of Clayton, NC and Billy Simmons (Bernice Simmons) of Goldsboro, NC; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
