Pamela Robinson Obituary

Pamela Jean (Bowie) Robinson passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

She was born on April 23, 1961 to Paul and Martha (Murphy) Bowie in Newburgh, NY. At the age of 10, the family moved to Midway, NC where Pam attended Midway Elementary and graduated from Midway High School. She attended Fayetteville Tech, Trade Harbinger College, & received several certifications while working with the American Red Cross for many years.

Pam joined Point Level Church at young age. She participated in the choir and other activities in the church. Pam was known in the community for helping people no matter what the need. You could always count on her to take care of you. Pam was extremely talented and creative. There was nothing too hard for her. She cared deeply for her grandparents, Carrie and Leamon Murphy & Father and made sure they had what they needed until their death.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Paul H. Bowie, a sister Bernice Bowie, and a brother Larry Robinson, her maternal grandparents, Carrie and Leamon Murphy, paternal grandparents, Jim and Maggie Bowie & spiritual son, Felipe Goodridge Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Point Level Church, 286 Vann Road in Clinton on May 27, 2023 at 3 pm.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Martha (Murphy) Bowie, four children, Charles, J'mal, Rob, & Dominque Robinson. Eight grandchildren, Mia Robinson, Carrie & Dakota Jones, Martina Robinson, Mirakole Monroe, Stephenie Locklear, Terry Robinson, and Manaae Robinson. Two sisters, Faye Villines, Phyllis Gillian (Keith), and two brothers, Paulie Bowie (Luisa), PatRick Bowie, one Aunt, Annie Mae Baggett. Her closest friends were Joann Blue, Shelia McLean, Lynette (David) Gibbs, Victoria Robinson & Joe Blue. Her spiritual children were Stephen Locklear, J.R. Abbort, April Gibbs, Rey Ruiz, Ricky Williams, Edward McDuffie, Anthony Goodman, Marissa Jacobs, Ron Smith & Harding Family. Godfamily was Lashaun Evans & family, Sylvia Armwood (Dante), Melody Howard (William), & Shana Troublefield (James). A special cousin Sarah (Mordecai) Hunter & Donald Merchison. Special friends Michael Johnson, Willie Moore & Bruce Draughon. Hosted by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pam had so many special friends too numerous to name. She was mother to all and touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all. God called her home cause he wanted his best Generals 5 stars!
