Ms. Willie D. Johnson

Ms. Willie D. Johnson 86 of 230 Roosevelt Lane died Friday 11, 2022 at her home.

Willie was born on August 24, 1936 in Sampson County to the late Lottie and Ernest Bennett. 

Willie is preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Johnson Sr. and her son Willie B. Johnson Jr.

A Home Going Celebration will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at New Life Outreach Ministries located at 708 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328. Rev. John Oliver, officiating. Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery, 3 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm, family present from 6:00-7:00 pm, on Friday, November 18, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. The family will receive visitors other times at 450 Indian Town Rd. Clinton, NC 28328. 

Left to cherish the memory of Ms. Willie are her children: Linda Raynor, James Johnson (Mary), Randy Johnson (Talibah), Carl Johnson, and Laura Robinson (Carl); bonus children: Willie B Johnson IV (Linda), Ann Marie Johnson (Yussif), Veronica Watson; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Family has asked that if you wish to wear a flower during the service, they may be purchased through Precious Memories Florist, located within Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service. All payments need to be in by 9:00 a.m. Friday November 18, 2022. Carnations for the ladies will be $5.50 and boutonnieres for the gentlemen will be $2.50.
