Thursday May 10th, 2012 Mt. Olive- Mr. Kenneth Lee, 70 of 720 Jordan Chapel Rd., passed Thursday May 10th, 2012 at Liberty Health Care in Benson, NC. A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday May 12th, 2012 at Friendly Holiness PFWB Church in Mt. Olive with the Rev. David Jarman officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Family cemetery. Mr. Lee was born January 15th, 1942 in Wayne Co., to the late Pearl Wise and David Thomas Lee. He worked as a farmer until he later retired. Mr. Lee is survived by: His wife- Peggy Lee of the home ; One (1) son- Brian (Lori) Lee of Newton Grove; Three (3) daughters Cindy (Jamie) Thornton of Newton Grove, Margaret (Eric) Tyndall of Mt. Olive, and Kristi (Justin) Best of Wilmington; One (1) brother- Norman Lee of Mt. Olive; Four (4) sisters Phoebe Gupton of Clinton, NC, Lois Aman, Nancy Barefoot, and Debbie Jackson all of Mt. Olive. Eleven (11) grandchildren The family will receive friends from 10 am - 11 am on Saturday May 12th, 2012 at the church.
