Minora Williams 90 of 1221 Lakewood School Road passed at her home on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Mrs. Minora “Babe” Williams was born on May 29, 1930 in Salemburg, NC to the Late Charlie and Julie Faircloth. Mrs. Williams received her formal education through the public school system of Sampson County.
She accepted Christ as her Savior with New Light AME Zion Church and Attended various churches in the community. She was a former employee at Sampson Memorial Hospital and did hair at her home. In her leisure, she enjoyed spending time with her family, laughing, fishing, listening to music, and cooking.
God in His infinite wisdom called Mrs. Minora home to rest on Sunday, April 25,2021. She was preceded in death by six siblings, two husbands, and four children. She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters Wanda Kirby (Joseph), Elaine Beatty (Gene), and one aunt Sannie Purdie all of Salemburg, NC. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Home Going service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. with Pastor Freddie Herring officiating, burial will follow in the Faircloth-Herring Cemetery in Salemburg.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm with family present from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
