Michael Douglas Lee passed away December 3, 2025 at his home in Greenville, NC.

Michael was born February 2, 1969 in Beaufort County, North Carolina to Sandra Lane Allen and the late Douglas Shelton Lee, and was raised in Plymouth, North Carolina. Michael was an amazing big brother to his sisters. He enjoyed a good laugh and was always pulling practical jokes. Michael also loved Tar Heel basketball and fishing. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at New Beginning International Pentecostal Holiness Church, 384 Mackeys Rd, Plymouth, NC 27962.

Preceding Michael in death is his father, Douglas Shelton Lee.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Sandra Lane (Allen) Lee; sisters: Shelly Lee of Benson, NC and Lori Campbell-Lewis (Paul) of Clarksville, TN; nephews: Zachary Williams, Elijah Williams, and Daniel Williams; nieces: Taylor Campbell and Mady Lewis; and a special friend who was more like a brother: Timothy Cahoon of Swan Quarter, NC.
