Maxine Conner Sessoms 68, of 163 Holiday Lane, Newton Grove, departed this life on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

Maxine was born on September 15, 1956 in Ohio to the late Cletha Mobe and Oakley Conner. Maxine was a homemaker and mother, who devoted her days to caring for her children. Her favorite color was purple, she enjoyed crocheting and doing crosswords, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Dr. Ray Ammons, officiating. Burial will follow in Springvale Cemetery, located in W. Elizabeth St., Clinton, NC.

Visitation to be held 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Those preceding Maxine in passing include her siblings: Betty Conner, Pete Conner, Jerry Conner, and Mike Conner.

Left to cherish the precious memories of Maxine are her children: Angela Gomez (Norberto) of Clinton, Michelle Rich of Clinton, and Ronnie Rich of Clinton; her 20 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
