Master Sladyn Knox Basden, infant, was born sleeping peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Betty H. Cameron Women & Children's Hosptial in Wilmington, NC. Sladyn is the fourth son born to parents Brittany Moss and Randy Basden.

Sladyn's parents will forever cherish his memory. His sweet chubby cheeks and tiny fingers and toes will forever be a photo in their hearts. His brothers were looking forward to endless lazy days fishing and talking big trucks with their new little brother.

Sladyn is survived by his parents: Brittany Moss & Randy Basden, of the home; brothers: Wailynn Joseph Basden, Branson Lynn Basden & Hudson Lynn Basden, all of the home; maternal grandparents: Rebecca Lynn & Joseph Adam Moss, of Albertson, NC; paternal grandparents: Shelia & Travis Basden, of Pink Hill, NC; two aunts: Emily Moss of Albertson, NC and Brandy Baker of Pink Hill, NC; and a host of extended family.
