Mary Boykin Obituary

Clinton

God so lovingly welcomed Mary Atlas Boykin 70, home to eternal rest on Sunday, July 7, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Mary Atlas Swinson Boykin “Punkin” was born in Sampson County, NC on March 27, 1954, to the late Paul Atlas Swinson and Romie T. E. B. Swinson.

Mary attended Sampson County Schools and Sampson Tech Community College. She was united in holy matrimony to Oscar Lee Boykin on January 21, 1977. In her early years Mary started working with the elderly at nursing homes and sitting with them at their homes. Although Mary did not feel well, she did not let her illness get her down. She always kept the faith. Mary joined Union Grove Church at a young age.
