Marilyn Norris Register 89 passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her home.

Marilyn was born in Harnett County on October 3, 1932 to the late Lela and Sam Norris. She was a dedicated employee of 30 years as a Director of Food Service for a nursing facility.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at the Tew Family Cemetery in Dunn, NC.

Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Register; brother Charles Norris; and sister Margret Ennis.

Left to cherish the memory of Marilyn are her daughters: Virginia Hudson of Clinton, Anne Register of Clinton, Norma Wright of Clinton; sisters: Doris Williams of Dunn, Lula Knapp of Smithfield , Wilda Stallings (Cary) of Raleigh; grandchildren: Jeffrey & Delores Medlin, Brian Medlin, Jason Hudson, Marcus Hudson (Jeriann), Chandra Rivenbark, Tyler Wright (Mabel DePestre) and Cammie Wright; great-grandchildren: Cameron, Devon, Jeremy, Emily, Kali Ann, Riley, Brenden, Cody, Luke, Kyla, Ashley, Allison, Abigail, Justin, Emelia, Zoe, Olivia, Alex and Cameron; and great-great-grandchildren: Cason, Tucker, Anyla and Dominic.
