Lucy (Autry) Beasley 86, of 104 South Alena Court, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington, NC.

Lucy was born in Sampson County on May 31, 1938 to the late Jeff Autry and Annie Laurie Carroll. Lucy loved to cook and prior to her health decline she worked as a cook for a healthcare facility. A very proud grandmother, Lucy adored her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. She loved spending time with them whenever possible. 

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years: Ro Talton Beasley Jr.; son: Jeffery Beasley; and siblings: Sarah Murray and Rufus Autry.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm  Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel,1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328..

Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00pm before the service.

Those left to cherish the precious memories of Lucy include her children: Anne Westbrook and husband, James of Garland, NC & Richard Beasley and wife, Deborah of Angier, NC; sibling: Mary Doggett of Hampstead, NC; grandchildren: Jamie Morgan husband Scottie, Leigh LaFleur husband Joey, Christian (Joe) Jackson, Amanda (Jenn) Peterson, Billy Crowe, Jorja & Zach Beasley: Great Grandchildren: Bryson, Tyson, Jase, Emily, Zachary, Jared (Kenzie), Tyler, Kyleigh, Alexis, Gavin, Kellen, Everlei, Elizabeth, Braelynn, Hailey, Alayna, Jasmine, Keegan, Hunter, Mackenzie, and Riggs. and Great Great-Grandchild: Huxley and Daughter in law Emily Beasley of Greenville.
