Linda Smith

Linda Adams Smith, 84, died peacefully at Mary Gran Nursing Home in Clinton, NC on Friday, October 10th, 2025.

Linda was born on September 10th, 1941 to Elbert B. Adams and Valeria Williams of Newton Grove. She was a graduate of Hobbton High School, received a bachelors at Campbell University, and Masters at East Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her brother Bruce Adams, sister Jane Adams Alabaster, Parents Elbert and Valeria Adams, and son Bill French III .

Linda is survived by her daughter Michelle French, grandchildren Forrest French, Summer French, Samuel French, and Kyle Strickland. She has two beautiful great grandchildren Layla and Jaxon French.

Per her last requests, no services will be held. The family will hold a private graveside memorial at a later date. We ask for privacy during this time as we grieve the loss of our loved one. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
