Lenora Anders 54 passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at her home.
On Saturday September 13, 2025, God called home our beloved Lenora “Boo” Anders from her earthly home to his heavenly home after battling cancer.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, 9364 Wildcat Rd, Ivanhoe, NC 28447. In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Anders will be cremated and will remain at home with her daughter.
Friends may visit and fellowship the hour prior to the service, 11:00 am-12:00 pm, within the chapel.
She was the daughter of the late Johnny McNeil and Annie Julia McNeil. She was born on April 13, 1971 in Sampson County. She received her education in the Sampson County school system. Lenora furthered her education in Suffolk, VA becoming a CNA. “Boo” enjoyed cooking, and helping others and making people laugh.
Lenora was preceded in death by her late father Johnny McNeil, and mother Annie McNeil. Late brother and sister Donnell and Brenda Lee Chestnutt.
Left to cherish her memories: Domestic Partner: Darryl Mann of Suffolk, VA, Daughters: Santana Chestnutt of Harrells, NC and Zerkira “Nikki” Anders of Salemburg, NC, Son: Tresvonte “Travis” Anders (Arielle Anders) of Raeford, NC, Bonus children: Robert “Black” Mann, Lorenzo Mann and Gregory Mann, Siblings: Marilyn Chestnutt of Clinton, NC, Jenette Chestnutt (Michael Unsled) of Louisville, KY and Connie Chestnutt of Harrells, NC. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special cousins.
