Randy Lee Taylor Jr. 37, better known as Lee to those who knew him best, of 240 Cotton Lane, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Sampson County, NC. 

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow in the Byrd Family Cemetery located on Turkey Hwy., Turkey, NC 28393.

Visitation will be held 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, prior to the service, Thursday, December 26, 2024, within the chapel. 

Lee was born on February 7, 1987, in Sampson County to Dianne (Boyette) Taylor and Randy Lee Taylor Sr. 

Lee attended Hobbton High School and later went on to obtain his GED. He enjoyed spending time fishing whenever he could and was a lifelong fan of UNC Tar Heel Basketball. Lee attended services at Clinton Community Church.

Those left to cherish the memory of Lee are his parents: Randy Lee Taylor Sr. and Dianne Taylor of the home; sister: Amanda Grace Miller (JD Miller) of Clinton, NC; nieces: Katlin Kittrell and Harper Miller; nephew: Jaxson Miller; and special best friend: Heather Chavis.
