Larry Thomas Avery 71, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Larry made his grand entrance to the world on March 7, 1954 in Sampson County, born to the late Allie Avery. He made his living in home construction and spent his free time fishing and enjoying his grandkids.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife: Beverly Baldwin Avery and brothers: Ronnie Williams and Stanley Williams.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 @ 3:00 pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Left to cherish the memory of Larry are his daughter: Candace King (John) of Faison, NC; sister: Teresa Williams of Fayetteville, NC; grandkids: John Thomas King of Faison, Hailey Taylor (Thomas) of Brinson City, and Kimberly Proctor of Florida; and great grandkids: Annilse Taylor, Axel Nelson, and Rose Nelson.
