Ms. Lakawsak Vekine Dixon, 30, affectionately known as “Piggy” was born on November 22, 1989 in Sampson County. She transitioned Friday, January 3, 2020 in Clinton, NC.
Piggy received her education in the Clinton City school system. Piggy loved hanging out with her friends and having a good time. She loved her family and working. She was an employee at Hard Hats in Four Oaks, NC. Piggy was a beautiful, unique soul. She will be missed. Piggy was preceded in death by her brothers: Herbert “2 Shot” Dixon and Jeremy Robinson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Running Branch Disciples Church located at 354 Running Branch Road in Clinton, NC with Pastor Elder Thomas Raynor and Rev. Doc Louie Boykin, officiating.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: My’asia, Robert (Jr), and Aniya, brothers: DeVonte (Skeeter), Henry (Cadedra), Jalen, Marquise, Lyndell, James, and Damion, one sister: Ashley Dixon, her parents: Henry and Reta Hobbs, grandmothers: Shirley Dixon and Retha Hobbs, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special friends: Joy, Vallice, and Kurtis.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel located at 1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC from 2:00 PM - 6 PM with the family present from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
