LaTanya Bullock 49, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on May 31, 1975, in the heart of Sampson County, LaTanya was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend whose vibrant spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.

LaTanya was the cherished daughter of Edna Bullock and the late Earl Bullock, whose love and support were the foundation of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Bullock.

Funeral Service will take place at 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service, 4:00-5:00 pm, within the chapel. 

A proud graduate of Clinton High School and Sampson Community College, LaTanya dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her dedication and commitment to her work was evident to all who encountered her. She brought comfort and laughter to both her colleagues and the patients she served.

LaTanya’s bold fashion sense and infectious laughter made her a joy to be around. She had an unparalleled ability to make others smile, and her unique style was an outward expression of her vibrant personality. Her hobbies included taking pictures to capture life’s beautiful moments, traveling to discover new places and experiences, and most importantly, spending time with her family, who meant the world to her.

She leaves behind a loving family, her mother: Edna Bullock (of the home); daughter: Akia Bullock (of the home); brother: Glen Bullock (Raleigh, NC); special children: Shinika Bronson (Clinton, NC), Justice Monk (Clinton, NC), Willie Johnson (South Carolina) and Briana Allen (Salemburg, NC) and a host of very special sisters, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that she kept close and loved very much.

LaTanya’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of laughter, love and compassion will live on in the memories of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
