Clinton,
Kewana Michelle Ingram, age 41, passed away 8:45am on
Wednesday, June 24th at Clinton Hospital in Clinton, North Carolina.
She was born May 4th, 1979, in Emporia, Virginia, but was raised in
Sampson County. She was a 1998 graduate of Hobbton High School.
Kewana worked in various industries, most recently working as a
security guard. Kewana truly lived life to the fullest through simple
pleasures; spending time with friends and family, cooking, listening to
music and binge watching some of her favorite shows. Kewana had
an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. To her
family, she was known as “Babygirl”, to her friends she was known as
“MJ” and to most who knew her she was known as a fun, joyful person
with a sweet, kind soul.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Ingram; father, Larry Ingram;
sister, Renee Ingram; and two brothers, Will Robinson and Vinson
Ingram; as well as nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.
Family, friends, and loved ones whose lives Kewana touched are
invited to the Clinton Cemetery (Springvale Cemetery) on Friday, July
3 rd at noon for the graveside service. A viewing will be conducted on
Thursday, July 2 nd from 3pm to 6pm at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral
Service.
