Kathryn Ann McDoe was born February 25, 1967 in Clinton, North Carolina to Haywood and Rosa McDoe. Kathy was the middle child of five children. Kathy transitioned suddenly on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 9:48pm. Her loved ones were not ready for her to leave but God, in his infinite wisdom, knew she was suffering. He saw fit to free her from all of the pain she was experiencing.

Kathy received her education at Clinton High School. She worked as a nursing assistant in the Healthcare Field. Kathy enjoyed working with her clients.

Kathy was a kind and lovable people person. To truly know her was to love her for whom she was. She was the life of the party.

Kathy is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents (Randolph and Bonnie Dell McDoe) and maternal grandparents (Warren and Rosie Williams) and her brother, Jamie Carter McDoe.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children (Seaun McDoe, Clarence Moore (Jasmine Moore,Ka’shawnda and Kacee Owens and her grandson, Jabari Thomas (Clinton, North Carolina. Kathy leaves also her parents (Haywood and Rosa McDoe), brother (Kenneth McDoe/sister-in-law Erica McDoe, (Greensboro, NC)two sisters (Marie McDoe (Clinton, NC),Brenda McDoe Hemingway/brother-in-law Steve Hemingway (Baltimore, MD) nieces, nephews, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Kathy also leaves a friend/sister, Latasha Royal (Bearskin, NC) and brother/friend, Timothy Burns (Bearskin, NC).

Last but certainly not least, her love Charles Royal Jr.

Home Going Celebration will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at New Life Outreach Ministries, 708 Sampson St., Clinton, NC 28328. Burial will follow at Bearskin Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 4721 Bearskin Rd, Clinton, NC 28328.

Visitation will be 1:00-6:00 pm, with family present from 5:00-6:00 pm on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.
