Judith Rodriguez 81, of 406 Powell St., peacefully entered Heaven's gates on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC.

Judith or 'Judy,' as she was called by family and friends, was born in Puerto Rico on April 9, 1943 to the late Matilde Baez and Manuel Jimenez.

Funeral Service for Judy will take place at 7:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328.

Judy was a very sassy lady, but she was also a very hard worker and one of the strongest women you could ever have the pleasure of knowing. She loved children, cooking for her family, and going shopping. You could often find Judy playing her favorite games, Bingo or Loteria. To know Judy was to know a true angel. She brought strength, wisdom, and joy to her family and her presence in this life will be missed immensely.

Those waiting to welcome Judy with open arms into Heaven include her late Husband: Juan J. Rodriguez; Great Grandson: Isaias Asis Hernandez; Granddaughter: Barbara Enriquez; and Great Grandson: Samuel Lionel Garcia. 

Those left to cherish the memories of Judy are her Children: Efrain Hernandez of Rochester, NY, Vicki Hernandez of Clinton, NC, Matilde Rosario of Clinton, NC, Manuel Rodriguez of Florida, Jesus Rodriguez of Florida, Miriam Rodriguez of Clinton, NC and Nancy Rodriguez of Clinton, NC; Grandchildren: Yadira Ivette Hernandez, Victor Delgado, Miguel Alamo, Samuel Garcia, Samantha Garcia, Milly Garcia, Maria Judy Figuero, Juan Garcia, Carmen Lydia Garcia, Jose Andres Garcia, Jesus Torres, Angel Enriquez, Vanessa Sierra, Danny Rodriguez, Nancy Madeline Estrada, Jessica Estrada, Cesar Estrada, Marible Hernandez, Jesenia Hernandez, Alexander Hernandez, Jayline Hernandez, and Jackeline Hernandez; Great- Grandchildren: Aiyanni Hernandez, Nahin Ramos-Hernandez, Angelica Rivera, Angelo Byrd, Janaya Winfrey, Luis Silva, and many many more.
