Joyce Anna Bryant White was born on May 27, 1944 in Clinton, North Carolina.  She was the seventh child born to the late Paul and Annie Bryant. Joyce entered eternal rest on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

She accepted Christ at an early age and remained a faithful and dedicated servant. On September 22, 1963, Joyce married Leroy White. To this union three children were born, Leroy Jr., Rhonda, and Kermit.

Over the course of her life Joyce worked in several high skilled manufacturing jobs. Later in life she worked alongside her husband, Leroy for over 30 years running White’s Janitorial Service. Joyce and Leroy dedicated their lives to service. Over the course of 10 years they hosted more than 10 foster children whom they loved as their own. Joyce was active in her churches where she enjoyed leading the children’s hour ministry.  One of Joyce’s proudest accomplishments was teaching vocational classes at Sampson Community College.  She remained a pillar in her community and enjoyed cooking not only for her family but the community as well.  Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, son, Leroy White, Jr., two brothers, Earl Bryant and Paul (Bubba) Bryant Jr, one sister, Bessie Bryant, and grandson, Marcus White.
