Jose Delgado 77 of 1980 Rosin Hill Road died Sunday May 27 2018 at Four Oaks Nursing Center in Four Oaks

Born in 1940 in Puerto Rico, Jose is a Veteran of the US Army. He spent his time working as a crew leader in the farming industry. Jose is preceded in death by his wife Estella Martinez a son Jose R, Carrasquillo.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Blackmans Grove Church, 1362 Timothy Rd, Dunn, NC 28334 with Rev. Ricky Lee officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He is survived by: Daughter: Maria Delgado Contrereas of Newton Grove, Step-sons: Billy Ray Matthews of LA, Pedro Matthews of Selma and David Matthews of Clinton, Stpe-daughter: Elizabeth Matthews of Clinton, 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation, 1246 Hobbton Hwy. Clinton.
