Mr. John Mitchell “Johnny” “Fishbone” Williams of Roseboro went to be with the Lord, surrounded by the love of his life, all of his children and some grandchildren, on May 12th 2024. He loved riding horses, hunting/fishing, being outside and around his family and friends. Johnny will always be known for his caring heart and generosity to every person and animal he met. While he took pride in being a hardworking provider for his family, he also took joy in all the jokes and pranks he could pull. Johnny retired from Goodyear after many hardworking years and lived out the remainder of his life at home,faced with multiple medical challenges while being cared for by family and loved ones.
No services will be held.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father and mother Willie and Martha Eloise Williams, his brother Eugene Williams, his two sisters Diane Tyndall and Fay Faircloth, and his grandson Asher Dean Owens.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his dedicated wife, Dawn Williams, his son Eric Williams, wife Tiffany and their four children Julian, Aubree, Lily and Jackson. His son Cody McLaughlin. His Son Nicholas McLaughlin and fiancee Ashley. His Daughter Brittany Owens, husband Dedrick and their two boys, Hayden and Blake. He was also survived by his brother Edward Williams and sister Betty Bullard. Along with his four-legged best friend, his dog “J”.
