Jessica Susan Tew 59, of 1390 Laurel Lake Rd., passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC.

Susan, as she was known by those closest to her, was born on July 6, 1964 in Sampson County to Jesse Spell and the late Janet Vann Spell. She was a homemaker and loving wife to her late husband. Susan also deeply loved each and every one of her fur babies and treated them all as her own children.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. The Family will hold visitation following the service, 7:00 pm-8:00 pm, within the chapel.

 The family will also be receiving friends and family at other times at the home of her sister Paula at 106 Eastover Avenue Clinton NC.

Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tew.

Those remaining to cherish the memory of Susan include her Father: Jesse Spell of Clinton; Siblings: Lynne Spell Adams of Clinton and Paula S. Hall (Adam) of Clinton; Fur Babies: Opie, Spanky, Boots, Baby Girl, Jr, Callie, and PeeWee; Nieces: Loretta Adams of Texas and Jessica Cook (Thomas) of Clinton, Candice Adams of Clinton, Britnie Tanner (Austin) of Salemburg; Great Nephews: Logan Trogdon, Colton Cook, and Asher Tanner; Goddaughter: Amanda Carter & children, Landyn Carter and Chloe Matthews; Brothers-in-Law: Randy Tew of Texas and Ricky Tew of Washington; and Sister-in-Law: Linda Diaz of North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers the Family asks the memorials be made to Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Service & Cremation to assist with funeral expenses.
