Jason Thomas Costin 49, of 106 Country Run Ln., passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at his home.

Jason was born in Duplin County on October 26, 1974 to the late Tommy Ray Costin and Daphanie Ann Fredrick. He worked as a roofer and loved good music as well as fishing in his down time. Jason also had a special place in his heart for animals of all kind. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Pastor Jimmy Flowers, officiating. 

Visitation will take place prior to the service, 6:00-7:00 pm, within the Hope Valley Hawkins Chapel.

In addition to his parents, Jason is preceded in death by his son, Jason C. Costin. 

Those remaining to cherish the memories left by Jason are his children: Jeffery T. Costin (Kaylee Tyndall) of Goldsboro and Thomas Kornegay of Faison; sibling: Jamie R. Costin (Kimila) of Castle Hayne; nieces: Kaitlyn Shafer (Ryan) and Brielle Costin; nephew: Brandon Wilson; and the mother of his children: Gail Davis of Faison.
