James Almon Mosely was born December 14 th , 1954, to James Robert Mosely and Doretha Royal Mosely. He peacefully answered God’s summon from this earthly life on May 23, 2023, at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, North Carolina.
“Button” as he was affectionately known, received his education from the Sampson County Schools and graduated from Union High School in 1973. He was employed with Sampson Produce for over 20 years, until he started employment with Hope Farms, when his health began to decline.
He was preceded in death by his father James Robert Mosely, nephew Rahiem Washington, brother Eddie Wright, grandmother Donnie Rochelle Royal, Uncles Charles Royal and Marvin Royal, daughter Lakawsha “Neat” Vonique McIntyre and Aunt Rochelle Royal.
Treasured memories of his life will forever remain in the hearts of his daughters Valencia Faison of Clinton, North Carolina and Helen Nicole Dixon of Spring Hope, North Carolina; his sons Dexter McIntyre of Houston, Texas and Quincy Aycock of Wallace, North Carolina; his mother Doretha Royal Mosely of Clinton, North Carolina; his brother Jackie Ray Mosely of Clinton, North Carolina; niece Pebbles Spearman of Clinton, North Carolina; grandchildren Lakivia McIntyre, Malik Mason, Ramel McIntyre, Tymair McIntyre all of Clinton, North Carolina, Da’Quarius
Bannerman of Kenansville, North Carolina, and Jaheim Faison of New Bern, North Carolina; Great-grandchildren Alanis Rodriguez, Ayden Waters, Ramel McIntyre Jr., Aysia Inman, Cameron Mason, Alayla McIntyre, Tyler McIntyre, Caleb Mason of Clinton, North Carolina, and Kameron Faison of New Bern, North Carolina, Special cousins Faye Royal and Judy Eason of Clinton, North Carolina; Special friends Frankie Lee Williamson, Billy Ray Wilson, and Lendell Wilson, and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.
