Jackie Lane Owens 69 passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at his home.

Born in 1954 in Sampson County to the late Leroy Butler and Minnie Owens. Jackie worked in Maintenance for Smithfield Foods for 10 years. He was a fan of the UNC Tarheel and wrestling, Jackie also loved Gun Smoke, He was a simple man that loved his family. Jackie is preceded in death by sister Tammy Butler Martinez and baby brother Bobby Owens.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Carr’s Chapel located at 1641 McDaniels Road Roseboro with Rev. Billy Bass and Pastor Johnny Haney officiating with burial to follow in the Sunrise Memorial Garden in Roseboro.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Carr’s Chapel.

Jackie leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 23 years Linda Owens of the home, Children: Tara Lynn Ammons of Roseboro, Billy Ammons of Roseboro, Nicole Beaulieu and husband Bruce of Fuquay Varina, Kristin Thames and husband Charles of Fayetteville, Tony Ammons and wife Tiffany of Roseboro and Paul Desentz of Florida, Siblings: Larry “Hambone” Owens of Greensboro, Vicky Sessoms of Clinton.
