Jace Amador Bradshaw, 13, of 3796 Alex Benton Road, Newton Grove, North Carolina, Sweet Jace was welcomed into the arms of Jesus as he entered heaven’s pearly gates on Saturday morning, December 6, 2025. Enduring a cancer battle that he fiercely fought for the last two years, it is comforting for us to now know he’s healed and running the gold streets of heaven. He will be forever missed and greatly remembered by his family and friends.

He was loved and raised by Wanda and Richard Lambert, known as “Nana” and “Papa,” but to Jace, they were “Mom” and “Dad.” Jace is survived by the Lamberts, his six siblings: his brothers Harrison, Adin, William, and Spencer; and his sisters Candace and Brooklyn; and his grandparents Lou Thornton and Deborah and Richard Lambert, Sr.
Jace loved his family and he loved Jesus! He spent his time playing with his brothers, listening to praise and worship music, and making people laugh. Recognizing he was sick, Jace still always had a smile, seldom a complaint, and never a sharp word. He was humble, honest, gentle, loving, kind, and caring. He displayed a Jesus like character that will leave an impact on all who ever knew him. Until we see you again Jace, we love you!
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to 3H Hospice for the care and support they extended to Jace and his family during this difficult time. His nurses Kaitlyn Mitchell and Amanda Wright were like angels to him, and the family will be forever thankful for the kindness these two women extended. The family is also grateful for the support of the members of the Blue Shepherds bike group who has provided great support and care as did many throughout the community — the family is humbled and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support Jace and his family has received.
