Isaias Asis Hernandez 16, left this life behind to take his place among the angels on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Wake Med Hospital.

He was born July 15, 2008 in Clinton, NC to loving parents, Yadira Ivette Hernandez and Erick Orlando Lopez.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Clinton High School, 340 Indian Town Rd., Clinton, NC 28328. Pastor Leonard Henry, officiating. The family requests that everyone try to wear red, pink or a bright color as these were Isaias's favorite.

Public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, 4:00-5:00 pm.

Isaias was a student of Clinton High School, Class of 2026, where he participated in the JROTC program. Weight lifting was a passion for Isaias. He was a member of both GridIron Gym and Nu-Birth Fitness. He also loved gaming, drawing and playing the ukulele. Isaias could often be found watching Anime or his favorite show, Steven’s Universe.

Isaias was an old soul. He loved to cook and eat good food, loved old cars, had an interest in old swords, and prefered older music. His favorite being a vocal group from the 1930's called The Ink Spots. He was helpful and supportive and always a good listener when it came to his family. He was also very funny and loved to make jokes all of the time.

Isaias will be embraced in the arms of his Great Grandfather, Juan J. Rodriguez, who preceded him in passing and his Great Grandmother, Judith Rodriguez, who has now joined Isaias in Heaven just three days after his sudden passing.
