Hullon Marvin Melton 45, of 405 Martha Lane, died Monday, November 4, 2024 at his home.

Hullon was born in Sampson County on March 4, 1979 to Peggy Matthis and the late Earbie Hullon Goodman. He worked in home construction and his hobbies included drawing, singing, and guitars. He also adored making memories with and loving on his grandkids. 

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Concluding the funeral service, in honoring Hullon's wishes, he will be cremated.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 4:00-5:00 pm, within the chapel.

Hullon is preceded in death by sibling: Deran Goodman.

Hullon is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth Simmons (Glenn Jr.); stepmother: Glenda Goodman of Dunn, NC; siblings: Kayla Herring of Benson, NC, Adam Goodman of Chandler, NC , Marty Goodman of Clinton, NC, Tammy Sanderson of Jacksonville, NC, Samantha Little of Warsaw, NC, Cindy Brewington of Clinton, NC, Victory Furgson of Newton Grove, NC, Shelby Goodman, and Larry Goodman of Fayetteville, NC; and grandchildren: Braxton Simmons, Glenn (Trent) Simmons III, Trevor Simmons, and Sara Elisabeth Simmons.
