Herman Allen House 63, of 762 Savannah Hill Rd., passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at his home.

Herman was born in New Hanover County on September 4, 1961 to the late Herman House and Madeline Naylor House. Herman served in the United States Army and after his discharge, made his living as a carpenter. He loved to fill his spare time working on carpentry projects and more recently, he had begun spending time with his grandchildren when he could and enjoyed making memories with them. 

Memorial service will be at 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Lee's Grove PFWB Church, 6208 Fairground Rd, Dunn, NC 28334.

Herman is preceded in death by his parents: Herman House in 2008 & Madeline House in 2017; brother: Henry in 2013; dear friend and mother to his sons Joshua, Daniel, and Justin: Alesia Horne in 2021; and two grandchildren: Honesti & Symphoni.

Those remaining to cherish the memory of Herman include his children: Candace House of Dunn, NC, Joseph House (Siesha) of Jacksonville, FL, Chrishina House of Smithfield, NC, Justin House (Rebecca) of Fayetteville, NC, Joshua House (Kathryn) of Lillington, NC, and Daniel House Shannon, NC; siblings: Katherine, Calinda, Marshall, Orba, and Earl; and 16 grandchildren: Macy, Wade, Emma, Joshua Jr., Jameson, Rylee, Hunter, Ja, Scarlett, Wrenlie, Aryon, Ariana, Joseph, Samuel, Sierra, and one on the way.
