Hannah Barnes 23, of 932 West Best Road. passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Hannah was born in Sampson County, North Carolina on July 21, 2000 to Johnna Cain and Allen Barnes. Hannah attended Union Schools in the Sampson County School System. She worked as a Shift Manager for Food Lion's Deli. She loved music, dancing, and chocolate milk. Her son, Greyson, was the light and love of her life. 

Those who preceded Hannah in death include: her grandmother, Peggy Brock; aunt, Kelly Spell; and grandfather, Albert Harvey Barnes.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Hannah's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel, 1246 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, NC 28328. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 pm, prior to the service. 

Left to cherish Hannah's memories are her Husband Cameron Rackley of Kenansville son: Greyson Lee Buffkin of the home; mother: Johnna Barnes of Harrells; father: Allen H. Barnes (Lisa) of Garland; siblings: Caitlyn Brown, Alishia Carter, Nyimie Tejeda, Alexis Garcia, and Jaaziel Vazquez; grandparents: Belinda and Garry Matthews; aunts: Christy Howard, Lisa Barnes, and Karen Barnes; cousins: Ashley Maready, Michael Spell, and Joanna Spell; as well as a host of other family and friends.
